Environment study from March this year. Looking back on it now I think I could've approached the composition better. The aim of the exercise was to create a room that would hint at the story of its inhabitant.

For making the portrait on the wall I borrowed a painting by 1870s painter Elisabeth Sonrel to use as a base for a paintover. Scene was kitbashed in Blender using Quixel Megascan assets along with some misc models borrowed from Sketchfab, the credits for which are as follows:
