Rise of the Guardians was my favourite underdog movie that year, I fell in love with it from the trailer. I loved the potential the world they created had. All the characters were appealing and were inspired interpretations of the folk figure's they're based on. That said, when I finally saw it I thought the the story still needed polish, and I get why the movie didn't do too well, as badly as I want a sequel for it to be given another chance. Oh well.
